Request your help to understand GLE350 ordering process

Thanks to this forum for wealth of info. I read thru many detailed threads to understand the pros and cons of GLE.
I finished my test drives.

I am ready to order 2022 GLE 350 4matic in 1-2 days and try for delivery before Christmas.
For now, my preferred options are
- AMG line with or without night package
- panoramic moonroof
- ventilated seats
- premium package
- Interior : Machiato Beige
Since timeline is tight for custom order, I would like to explore similar optioned cars in dealer order pipeline which are available.

I was planning to ask all the 4-5 bay area dealers for available cars in their pipeline with similar options.
In your experience,
1) Generally, Are the dealers willing to share their pipeline or I should plan to go in-person to each of them to get this data.
2) Is the deposit on the order refundable, in case i decide to cancel it later due to some reason?

Thanks for your help.

Dealers shouldn't have any problem letting you know if they have a car in their pipeline that matches your needs.
I'd call the stores in your area.
Deposits are refundable.

For planning purposes, if you custom your build order with all of the features you want, plan on about 14-15 weeks from order date to delivery date. That’s assuming no additional “chip” or other mfg delays going forward. I would not count on getting it prior to Christmas at this time. Best of Luck.
