any diagrams on changing the engine air filter for a 2021 4-cylinder GLE-350?

Why? The car is brand new, maintenance interval for the engine air filter is 50k miles I believe.

Pretty sure it’s posted on this site. Nearly the same procedure as the W205 C300 which uses the same M264 engine.

#1- I drive in a dusty work area daily and over the years, I've learned that the air filter needs changing often.

#2- I've searched and found the description of a few, but not the new 4 cylinder.

I agree with your reasoning for the accelerated maintenance schedule. I changed the oil on my 2021 model at 3500 miles and it was dirty for the miles, no way i would have wanted to go to 10k.

Maintenance on your vehicle is like taking a bath or brushing your teeth, not sure it hurts to do it more often than recommended.

I have not changed the air filter yet but did remove the intake pipe from the air cleaner box to the throttle body for better access to the oil filter housing. It uses the typical ring clips that MB has used for years, just do not pull them all the way out to disengage. The filter housing looks to have the T20 fasteners on the upper side and maybe finger clips on the lower side. Again I did not go into the filter housing yet but looks fairly easy.

I like to do all my filter changes at 5k. The engine bay air filter is a bit of a pain in the butt but is certainly a diy if your mechanically inclined. I use k&n filter which has always worked well. Yes, there is info on the site (that’s how I was able to do it). You will need a t12 torx I believe

WIS documents are posted on this site for the new M264 4 cylinder. Keep looking. I’m traveling or would spend a few minutes searching.

I just cleaned my kn filter yesterday….one reminder, while the 4, t25 screws along the sides of the cover are somewhat visible, there’s a hard to see one at the rear…fyi
