So I'm getting $77,000 trade on the Mercedes Trade tool which is more then I paid a year ago. 2021 GLE450. Do dealerships honor that value?

My estimate is about $7k under what I paid 11 months ago for a highly-optioned 450 SUV.

1. The "Mercedes Trade-In Tool" is "powered by CarFax" - if you run it the good thing is it won't generate spam/dealer calls necessarily

2. Edmunds is another "tool"

3. Kelley Blue Book is another tool

4. If you want to have "todays solid market quote" - for most areas best done online w/CarMax (also CarMax "powers" Vroom tool I think) or Carvana offer online "purchase quote tools" - be sparing in the Personal Contact Info - and/or mark option for no spam calls/emails/texts.
These outfits HAVE-TO-BUY-PREOWNED-EVERYDAY to feed their retail machines - and they generally offer best no hassle "cash purchase" offers since they make their profit on the back-end/financing.
These outfits - their tools/algorithms predict Cash Value 2-weeks out in the future from their side - as Pre-Owned has continued to increase - thats all good for you.
A MB Dealer "should come close" - although from the MB dealer side recent models will have a added Certification Cost on the MB De
dealer side to service to sell as MB Certified - with the major MB Dealers expense backend - tires as needed for CPO - windshield needs to be MB OEM glass with no cracks or major chips - then the cost for
Service due that's why a MB dealer might be back off CarMax (Vroom) or Carvana quote.

The "extreme" are Pre-Owned Values for recent model performance AMG's - especially G63 - and recent model GLS's... 2019+ G63 Cash Values can be the mother load - GT 4-door coupes - and GLS's/GLE/GLC/GLB low mileage are coming up 2yrs old/under $30K miles at about "even" to original purchase Price

When my wife's 2018 Kia Niro PHEV kept throwing check engine lights and couldn't be fixed, got more for the car from Carvana than Kia would have paid under Lemon Law. Spoke with Kia dealer about it and he said that Carvana pays far more wholesale than he could offer. That was March 2021 and I can only imagine that the offer would have been even higher today. BTW, Kia actually makes a nice vehicle until it needs repair. We found the dealer network extremely weak and service was spotty.

I got $77 on the MB, $69 on KBB. Dealer offering $64...I passed. Not sure why Mercedes supplies a trade in tool on their site that their dealers aren't even close to.
