There are some that get humidity build up like a mini cloud. It can be seen in good light by looking through the windshield. If you are close to a Dealer you might drop by and have them take a look. Other than that nothing comes to mind.

I had this issue - dealer ended up replacing the control module up un the camera housing at the top of the windshield. They tried once to fix and I still got the error intermittently and ultimately a replacement of the module cured it. I would tell you that the part took about a week to come in back over the summer. Your dealer should be able to diagnose it pretty easily.
