Shopping for a GLE for my wife - saw a Selenite Grey Metallic on a lot. It looks nice clean, but how is it in daily use?

 

Brilliant colour, I go fishing and the car always looks relatively clean.

 

Great colour if you don’t want to wash it every week! Always looks clean and then when cleaning has a lovely finish!

 

had mine for 3 weeks, still looks clean but you can see a little dust close up. Great color!

 

Silver is one of the best colors to hide any dust or dirt.

 

That's my color and if I had to order again I would get it in the same color, absolutely love it. Hides dust very well, I ceramic coated mine and most of the stuff just slides right off when I wash the car.

I've been considering Selenite Gray because it seems there are not many Iridium Silver models available. Iridium Silver is my favorite as it is so crisp and bright but not as stark as white and the grays are a bit dull for me. I keep toying with the Selenite but can't seem to give up on Iridium Silver which has been the color of the last 3 ML's.

 

I have the iridium Silver and love it. There are a few photos in the sticky at the top of the forum. It always looks clean, and the color is perfect for the vehicle. Although honestly, so many colors on the GLE look great! I'm partial to the AMG line package for the exterior, too

 

Great Color,last 3 Mercs I have owned have all been Obsidian Black...forever washing them..Selinite is great doesn't seem to look dirty even when it is

I’m really enjoying the color. I did the Ceramic pro gold on it as well but it’s just an easy color to keep clean looking.

My 2018 GLC was Selenite Gray and we loved it. Stayed clean and was a very distinctive gray. Went with Red for the 2021 GLE and don't regret it. In 6 months, I've never lost the car in a parking lot.

 

I may be crazy but my Red seems to hide the dirt as well as white and still shines through a heavy layer of dust. I’ve also had several people just about break their neck or run off the road staring. I told my wife they were staring at her but she thinks those days have passed🙄

 

I’ve had a few silvers in my older M-Classes but I’m liking the darker grey, a deep, charcoal grey colour and with the AMG line, it looks incredible. No regrets.
