I wasn't able to add the night package to my order so last year I vinyl wrapped the chrome window trim. For a first time wrapper, I thought I did pretty well but I wasn't fully satisfied. After a few weeks, I took it off. I ordered the black window trim pieces and after a few weeks of backorder, they'll be here next week. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge as to how the trim is removed? I found one window of a guy removing it on C class but that was a few years ago. Is it nearly as easy as pulling or 'popping' off the current and replace with the new?
I replaced the stock chrome trim with black. Much better. If anyone is interested in the chrome pieces, message me. Everything is essentially pressure fit. No special clips were needed to be replaced. I'm semi-concerned about that but that only pertains to the top trim pieces as the bottom pieces are much more secure. Took me about two hours.
