Here’s some Cash pricing information for anyone considering a longer term maintenance contract. While my car is an AMG model I really don’t see anything different than on my GLE 450.
As I previously posted my A Service was almost $395 including 6% sales tax on a little over $100 in parts…a glorified oil change & grease job with multipoint inspection by a certified Tech. I think some big city dealers charge even more.
My B Service was $708.15-labor $445; parts $248.25; tax $14.90-less $100 credit for a coupon Mercedes sent me recently. I’m guessing they sent the coupon because my 2020 GLE 450 hadn’t been in for Service since I sold it almost 2 years ago. Whatever the reason I jumped on the coupon that had a 30 day expiration. Service B includes (from A) a brake fluid flush and 2 filter changes. They charged $6 to top off the windshield washer fluid 🫤.
My Continental AS tires have 7/32 remaining of 9/32 new but that’s with just over 10,000 miles on those tires since I have a second set for winter with 9808 on them. Projecting out the Conti’s should last another 20,000+ if they are replaced at 3/32.
For me it never makes sense to buy the extended service contract since it stays with the vehicle.
I had no firmware updates since that was done recently when my camera was replaced. I’m not sure that’s always done anyway but normally I ask them to check for updates.
