I just picked up a new MY22 GLE 350 about 3 weeks ago and now have about 700 miles and I've been noticing a couple issues on it and was wondering if anyone had any insights before I consider taking it into the dealer.
1) For the last week seemingly every time I get in the car and start driving I get a warning stating "Temporarily unavailable, Camera view restricted". I've tried cleaning every camera and sensor on the car yet it still persists.
2) I've started to notice this buzzing noise seemingly coming from the area around the sunroof controls. It will start randomly throughout a drive and will last anywhere between a few seconds to a few minutes. Usually I just drown it out with the radio until it stops. I find it hard to believe this sound is normal since it is quite intrusive. I was able to record a clip of it.
The camera for the forward collision (error message on your screen) is the one behind the rear view mirror cluster (sunroof controls area). Maybe your issues are related. You can also check if there is anything blocking the camera from the outside of your windshield.
Never heard that on my 2020, that is not normal. Recommend you schedule an appointment at dealership, and show it to the service writer. If it doesn't make the noise, show them the video. I believe the two issues may be related.
