Hey Mercedes freezes when asking for “pink”
I cannot be the only one with this problem!
If i ask Hey Mercedes Change Color to PINK, the system freezes and takes about 20 seconds to wake up. It understands every other color though.
It’s annoying as this is the only color my daughter asks for, and Hey Mercedes doesn’t understand it!!

Or maybe you could ask to "add 5 drops white and 3 drops red" and see if it gets the desired pink.

Pink is "light red." I don't think it knows "light blue" or "light green, either. That's probably why they display the color palette for you to choose your exact color, even if it doesn't have a name! (Notice how many "pinks" there are on that palette.)
Or maybe you could ask to "add 5 drops white and 3 drops red" and see if it gets the desired pink.

And tell her that, as her tastes change, so can her chosen color! (My Hero!!)
In any case, MBUX is far superior to previous Command's ability to hear my word "YES" every time it asked "do you want to ... cancel navigation?" Frustrating, but my patience has been rewarded with the 167's ability to understand my pronunciation of "Yes."

There are probably a few thousand color descriptions that even Sherwin Williams wouldn't understand. They will send you to their color displays, just like Mercedes! (menu)
Impress your daughter and just set the color to her desired shade of red.
