Is it possible to keep recirculation on? I turned it on but it went off on its own after awhile either auto is on or off. Thanks.
The MOST irritating ISSUE I have with the car. If the owner is too stupid to turn recycle off when needed, they have no business driving. I had to physically screw the vent door shut to stop this on one of my vehicles. Looking like I'll have to do it again if there is not a work around. On the rare occasion I needed to in my area, I just cracked a window thereafter.
Is there a way to show the odometer without taking up the entire center portion of the screen? I find it somewhat annoying this number isn’t permanently shown on the screen somewhere.

I agree and would like to have it displayed at all times. But, I haven't found a way to do it so it must not be doable.

Definitely agree. Not the best way to display and it looks ugly too imo. Too many for my taste. After trying out everything I like these two most.
Nothing wrong with it there, but it certainly wastes a lot of useable screen space and functionality for something that can be shown in other more smaller areas.
Does RCTA work for you folks? I read that it's part of Blind Spot Monitoring system? I was backing from a parking spot and a car was crossing right behind me but I didn't get any alert. I do get alerts for Blind Spots.

I didn't want to be negative about it but find interesting that someone thinks it's a good idea to mandate/hard code this line. They must have not travelled long distances.

I hear you. With the lack of skip buttons, this is a good place to display media. I think you're a bit biased. You should drive your other car. Another thing is the PSI, like your other car, it doesn't display on the instrument cluster but you could either code it to display with BC button or assign one of the 8 buttons to quickly display when needed.

Which 8 buttons are you referring to, and how does one assign anything to them?
That's my right third of the driver's side cluster setting (whew) all the time too.
Yes, all the time. I find it difficult to determine what I actually want displayed there. I have HUD, so most of the time I don't even look at IC. You can always just scroll to another option with the pad on steering wheel.
Perhaps RJA can intermittently display photos of our favorite pets - LOL
Anyone notices the sound similar to the sound it makes when you use the sensor pads on the steering wheels? During my last trip it would come up once in awhile. I wonder what made that similar sound.

Oh good to see your post. After seeing the other post I thought we were being unreasonable. My X5’s were actually bad too but they got better after awhile but not as bad as these. You definitely know how I felt. I was on a trip and had to turn it off.

Thanks. I may look into this. I use BimmerCode for a few things.

I was referring to his X5. It has eight buttons that you can assign to different settings/set up/states.

Actually, that’s one of the reasons why I don’t keep the odometer up is because having music in the center part of the screen is the only way you can advance tracks by the steering wheel touch pad thing. You can advance tracks by sliding up or down on the left side steering track pad. To advance presets, you have to press that button and select presets, otherwise it will just scroll stations.
That’s one thing I miss about my BMW was the dedicated track forward and backwards buttons on the steering wheel.
