Question Hot Weather Seems to Disable "Touch" on Touchscreen

2021 GLE 350 4MATIC: Anyone else have this issue: in very hot weather (95+ degrees), touchscreen doesn't respond to touch. It isn't frozen - will still recognize that I've moved my finger nearby - and I can navigate w/ the manual control options - but the screen doesn't respond to touch. Is this a feature or a bug? That's my question.

Happened to me in the morning at first start. Would work for 5 minutes and then touch screen would not respond to inputs. All other controls worked no problem. Restarting MBUX or even the car would not solve the issue. After 4 days of continued problems I took it to the dealer. Performed a software update. Has worked right since.

*** Interesting recommendations to have my staggered tires rotated every 5k miles.... Surely it is a generic note ***

Never experienced this in >100 deg TX heat on either of our GLEs. Could be a defective part.

Haven't seen it happen here in AZ.

It's probably a good idea, because the camber at the rear definitely wears the inside tread a lot faster.
Staggered involves dismounting the tires and rebalancing, but I'll bet you get at least 25% more mileage if you do that.
I did mine at about 10,000 Miles when I changed from Winters. I was watching my tread depths, and I was considering doing it anyway.

If you mean rotating right to left / left to right since I have a staggered set, my Pirelli Scorpion All Season appear to be directional since they have an arrow and writing denoting "OUTER". All research I've done on this tire tells me they cannot be rotated.

Good catch.
If you have both a directional arrow/tread and the outer marking, they can't be rotated.
Absent either of those and you can.
