EQS SUV…
This might be good news for those waiting for the GLE EV. Starting with a lower volume model makes sense. The GLE equivalent (EQE SUV) might be coming for 2024?

I would probably consider the EQE for my next car. Even though both unfortunately have no real buttons, I prefer MB’s interior versus the single tablet on the Tesla. Tesla’s supercharging network is a big plus, but I heard they may open it up to everyone. I would actually consider the EQE as well if it was a hatchback like the EQS.

you got me curious so I looked up how it's done in the EQS.
"There are other clever safety designs at play around the Hyperscreen. The passenger airbag was designed to deploy from above and ahead of the panel, inflating up and over the Hyperscreen to meet the front passenger's head and torso in a frontal impact."

*EDIT* I realized i have read it as where the [passenger side] airbag is, and not passenger [side airbag], correct me if I looked up the wrong information

This was quoted by a service manager that I knew. It should be about right as a Tesla model 3 battery will cost around $23-25k to replace.
