One thing I don’t like about my GLE is that it doesn’t have headliner or roof handles. Is this handle missing across the entire GLE line? Why did they leave that out?

 

First time this gas come up. I’ve had them on both of my current Gen. GLE’s.

 

They come equipped on the SUV but not the Coupe.

 

Ditto, C238 doesn't have it either, I wonder what can the passengers grab when the driver floors it then...

 

That’s weird these handles are missing. I understand the roof is curved, but that’s not difficult to overcome when designing these handles.

 

Left hand on the console grab handle, right hand on the door grab handle.
And there's a headrest, adjustable up and down and front to rear. And inflatable side bolsters. And self tensioning seat belts at high G's.

But you have to provide your own HANS device. What's wrong with Mercedes. It's not even available as an option.

 

MY 22 GLE 450 has them.
