Wheel Alignment Question
I have 2020 GLE 350 and wanted to get the wheel allignment done at FireStone but they said they can't do it as these cars need some calibration as there is Active braking and Cameras etc and they don't have software to caliber
Is that true, can we only get the alignment done only at the dealer. I was planning to get the life time warranty from Firestone/Tireplus

There are alignment jigs that specifically fit Mercedes wheels. That gives the probability of a more accurate alignment.
However, any Shop with good equipment and skills should be able to do a reasonable job.
My experience is that my M-B cars have held alignment very well.
I've had a couple of tire stores offer me their free alignment checks, and they both said I needed an alignment right away. In both cases, when checked at the Mercedes store, the alignment was spot on. Subsequent tire wear indicates the alignment was, in fact, fine.
Maybe the jigs really do make a difference.

Called tire plus and they checked based on VIN and said they can do it. I think Lane departure is an issue so as long as driver assist package is not there we should be ok
