Service schedule

So I understand the A/B service schedule, the main difference is the B schedule changes out the engine and cabin air filters, along with the brake fluid.

What about the other fluid changes—is there a recommended schedule for transmission fluid, transfer case (4 matic), rear differential, power steering, radiator, etc.?

Im sure there is, but I have seen one. Does anyone have a complete mx schedule that they can share. Got 30k on my GLE, so wondering if it’s time for transmission/transfer case fluid change or is it good to 60k?

trans oil = 60k miles for 164 and 166. 166 uses 9G box so small leap to say 167 9G is the same.

MB does not specify change intervals for t/case or non-AMG front or rear axles. I changed all drivetrain fluids at 50k miles anyway.

coolant exchange = 150k miles

No power steering fluid in your car, it has electric power steering.

213/222/166 maintenance schedule is posted many times on this site. If someone doesn’t come up with it in an hour or two I will repost it when I have access.

edit: typo

Attached.

M264 engine is descended from M274 used in 205, 213 and 253.

9G box is used widely on several pre-167 platforms.

This place is a joke.
Here is the "official" maintenance sheet for U.S. based 2020 GLE's. Note there is no A/B service, only 1 year/10k mile intervals. MBUSA has been using that system with some variation for many years now.

Thanks, that is easier to read! Surprised to see the spark plugs need replacing at 50K, would have thought Mercedes uses platinum plugs good for 100K.

You're welcome. "100k mile" spark plugs was a marketing tool IMO. MB has been on the 50/60k interval for a long time. I've changed plenty of plugs in the m278 engines for example, and you can see they are quite worn. Direct injection and turbocharging may have something to do with the need to replace them before 100k miles.

Changing spark plugs at 50k makes a noticeable difference in smoothness, as did changing ignition coils at 100k.
