2023 GLE 450
Angry Passenger Side Mirror Memory Recall Problem

2023 GLE 450 purchased new from MB Portland about a week ago. I'm having the following issues, can anyone help?

1) Driving Position: After I set my seat, mirror, and steering wheel positions and save them to memory, the right passenger mirror position doesn't save. It either points directly up or down, but never in the position I saved. Driver side mirror has no issues with memory recall.
2) Reverse: Upon setting the reverse position for the passenger and driver side mirrors (down toward the rear wheels), the passenger mirror doesn't go to the desired position when in reverser. Similar to #1, it points up in the air or some other direction. Then, when I put the vehicle in drive and proceed forward, it doesn't go back to the driving position. When I press and hold the memory button (1/2/3), it doesn't go back to the saved driving position.

For context I also have a 2021 C63S so I know the procedure. I have also read and re-read the GLE manual just in case there were differences. Nothing works. Super frustrating experience on a new new.

I had a similar problem, until I realized that I had saved the mirror in its down, reverse position. I think it may have arrived that way.

I'm not sure if this is what I did, but I think I turned off the car, opened and closed the driver door, one press on the starter button. Then adjust the mirror before touching the memory, then Remember the entire seat settings.

Hope this helps.
