Interesting! So the exclusive trim essentially replaces the preium package. I suspect we will see very very few base premium cars. And the pinnacle just bundles in all of the "high end" options with relatively low take rates. And then there's a few new options like the winter package.
I'm happy with the bahia brown over the old espresso, and the new catalana loos really nice. I think few will miss the lack of mb-tex/mircrofiber interior for AMG Interior cars, but @GregW / Oregon will now be able to gloat about his rare not available anymore interior. Still dispointed that exclusive nappa is only black, I was hoping would see Bahia and/or Catalana as an option on it.
A little disapointing that the exising AMG line 21 inch wheels are continuing on while the new night package wheel is only on night package, and the 22 is only the night package version. I would have liked to see the new design of the 21s and the 22s to have anion dark accent version available on non night package models.
Lots of super high end options discontinued or not coming back - no high end audio, no microfiber headliner, no e-abc of course, no power window shades, etc.

No 3D Burmester, and what the heck happened to the exclusive black nappa interior?
This used to mean diamond stitching on the seat, but now its just extra large squares like some cheap comforter?

@Eaton any idea when the AMG order guides will be out?
At this point im fairly sure the 63 wont have 3D Burmester either but I'd like to confirm anyway.

Now it costs $7,310 to get Airmatic! Sucks they bundled it with unrelated things. 80% of the Pinnacle package I'm fine with, but 4 items I could do without. Moot point for me, as I'll keep my '20 until next model.

Airmatic limited availability. I wonder if they have figured out how to tell you it is available when you order it, or is it still a surprise when the vehicle is delivered.

If so, I'd expect fewer surprises with ordered cars.
Maybe some of the premium options will be less predictable.
I also wonder why the order process is so mysterious, online or at the Dealer.
Must be the German Way, retained only by Mercedes, for Tradition.

Love Catalina but no V8?
I am digging the new Catalina Beige it's almost identical to Macadamia that was offered in the W164 bodies.
It also appears like MBUSA may not be offering the 580 anymore. the only models listed with included specs are the GLE350W4, GLE450W4 and GLEPHE4. even though the plug-in is going to be delayed its still included in the guide however the V8 is completely omitted. I wonder what this may mean for the refreshed AMG

I can't say for certain what they did. I've gone through some of the press info and even though three models (GLE 450, GLE 53, GLE 580) got power and/or torque bumps, the only one I saw that cited specific changes was the GLE 53 with new software and a larger turbo.

I don't believe there's ever been a red/black option on the non AMGs. I see no reason why it wouldn't continue to be available on the AMGs as it's a very popular option.

Yeah, no "exciting" colors for the base SUV. Black, gray, beige, white - yawn! Not even a saddle tan.
