How far can seats recline with power 2nd row?

Hello,

We are in the process of ordering a 2024 GLE, and we have a question about the seats.
Specifically, we are wondering if the power 2nd row seats option allows for a greater recline angle compared to the non-powered seats. We are considering the 3rd row seat package, assuming it would provide greater recline ability, however, our dealer, who has not seen a GLE with a 3rd row in person, tells us that the 3rd row seats should recline as far back as the non-powered 2nd row seats, but with additional control functions. Can you confirm if this is accurate, or if the 3rd row seats do in fact have greater recline ability?

Thank you for your help.

Yes it's true. I compared both and it goes as far back as the fixed one. I think it's a real miss on Mercedes to not let either recline further for more rear passenger comfort during road trips. The 3rd row does allow the seat to slide further back than the fixed one though.

Your dealer should have a GLS (they all have 3 rows) and I think it's the exact same for their 2nd row.
