Just took off my Winters. I've had Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV in 275/50R20 113V for four seasons now. After 8,657 miles (mileage down during Covid) I measure 8/32" tread front and 7/32" rear; new was 10.5/32".
I've been really happy with these tires. With a V rating they handle very well and snow performance has been good, though they've only seen it a few times a season, mostly wet and sometimes icy roads.

I had similar experience with more miles but I didn’t think to take a reading before I sold them. Great tire in all conditions…ice or snow & quiet on the highway. I spent time in the SouthWest several winters and they held up well in the 70’s at 80 mph.
I ordered them again for my Porsche and found that the Porsche spec has a different tread design. They work at least as good with the change.
They are still Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV in N spec 20”.

How did they handle in the random warm day for or late winter day with temps above 60F, if you experienced any days like that.

In Arizona most days were in the 70’s. I drove several times at 80+ for hundreds of miles and there was no change in handling from stock tires. You can take curves at way over posted limits-on dry pavement. At one point I stopped to check for tire heat after driving at higher speed. The temp/pressure gauges remained normal but I wanted to feel the tread temp.
The V shaped tread design should reduce hydroplaning but I never experienced heavy rain in the shoulder season.
