I have the same vehicle, perhaps you should check tire pressure

What size wheels do you have? My 22s bounce and move the back end a lot over bumps.

Does it feel like a sway or shift? My GLE with 22s has that feeling.

Wider tires are more prone to Tramlining - following depressions in the pavement.
Some brands more than others.
Tire pressure can help, usually.

36 psi is a bit high if you're not loading the car. My 350 has the 19"run flat tires and i generally keep them around 32 psi. Run flats ride like a dump truck no matter what the air pressure is but above 35, thy start to wander on the road.

I’m not sure if we might mean the same thing but just over bumps with the larger tires the rear end moves side to side more than what I’m used too. But, I’ve never had a daily with this large of tires either.

I've a GLE450 with 21" AMG wheels. Seems to be a normal thing for these to shimmy when going over road imperfections

2022 GLE 450
I have 20", and didn't have an issue with it, until several months ago when my rear shocks were changed due to a rattle. After that, I started to notice the rear would shift/shimmy after hitting a bump/pothole. I brought it back to MB and was told there was nothing wrong with shocks. However, I did notice that all the tires had since been inflated, by MB, to levels indicated on the door.

Last month, I needed 2 rear tires (yes, I too was shocked after only 22K miles). After that, the ride has been silky smooth, even over bumps. MB also change pressure on all the tires to that on the gas tank. I can only presume it was tire pressure that was causing the issue.
