Was looking at a used 2020 GLE 350 4Matic - saw bubbling and cracking in the chrome on both the front and rear bumper. Is this a known issue? Any chance dealer will address under warranty? I'm assuming that if they would these folks would have gotten it fixed? Any solutions? Seems odd for a car that is <4 years old. Also doesn't seem the chrome is anything like actual chrome...
Your post is the first instance I have seen on chrome bubbling. Yes, if the car is still under four years and 50,000 miles it should be a warranty repair. If the vehicle is on a Mercedes lot the parts may be on order.

It may not have bubbled or cracked if there was not a collision , but there was a collision you can see possible transfer paint. This car is as is from a warranty stand point but the dealer may work a deal to repair before the sale
regarding the second pic there may have been a milder impact or bend or perhaps defect in the chrome - again I doubt they will treat this as anything other than wear and tear re: warranty but the dealer may want to make the sale and get these repaired for the buyer

Looks like there was impact on those pictures. The first one might have been caused by a stone as there is impact marks on where the chipping is occurring. The second one also looks like you backed-in on something or a vehicle might have hit you on a parking lot or when your car was parallel parked. If the dealer sees any indication of collision they won't warranty those items and you must go through your insurance.
