Holding Recirculation button to close all windows

I've seen and read about this convenience feature about holding the Recirculation button will automatically close any open windows and pressing it again will open the windows back to their original positions.

I tried this out today and it didn't work on my 2020 GLE. Did they remove this feature from V167? I didn't see it in my manual unless I missed it.

I haven't heard of this feature before. The only way I know to open and close all windows, other than the window switches, is from the key fob. Pressing and holding the unlock button will open the windows and sunroof, if you have one. Conversely, pressing and holding the lock button will close everything.

Maybe it's a regional feature but I've read about it on other model sub forums on MBWORLD and I've seen it on videos, on old models and newer models.

Here's a newer model but UK at 10:33 min:sec mark:

This person sounds American and looks like America on an older model performing the same feature:

Nice. Unfortunately doesn't work here in the U.S. apparently. Just tried it on my GLE.

Never heard of this feature. If it isn’t documented by MB literature it doesn’t exist.

Holding the fob lock button does the job described in the original post.

Bummer. It would have been a useful feature to quickly avoid those situations where you don't want certain smells coming into the cabin while driving.

the good thing is that all windows have auto up so a couple of more 'moves' to put the windows up vice holding a switch. It would probably be faster to flick two sets of switches up then hold the recirculate button. of course, you won't be able to return them to the original position afterwards but that's just our first world problems!

Heard about this too, never seen it working on NA market vehicles, maybe some European friends can chime in?
