2021 GLE one headlight stuck on
Hi All,
We came out to our parked 2021 GLE this evening and even though the car was off, the driver’s side headlight was on! Upon starting the car, we got the error message “Active Headlamps Inoperative” and “Check left low beam”. Fiddling with the light switches and restarting the car didn’t do anything. Put lights back to Auto and shut car down to go have dinner. When we went back out to the car an hour or so later, headlight went off and all was back to normal. Keeping an eye on it…

This has happened to me a couple times, I think the one headlight light on might be a warning that you left some lights on either interior or exterior after you turned off the ignition.

This has happened to me a couple times, I think the one headlight light on might be a warning that you left some lights on either interior or exterior after you turned off the ignition.

No. Definitely not that. Lights are always left on Auto. We did have the car in a touchless automatic car wash earlier that day and I wonder if the pressure of the water contributed? Hasn’t happened since…

Very interesting observation, I will pay attention to this more now. It has happened to me and I even brought it up during both my service A and B but since mine did not throw any error code, they can't do anything about it. This even with a clip of my garage camera showing the incident.
