2023 GLE 450
An interesting thing about the wheel lock

I found an interesting thing. I can rotate the top of all 4 wheel locks by hand, but if I use the wheel lock key, I cannot. Looks like the wheel locks are screwed tightly.
Is it part of security feature?

Yes, that's the whole idea. A lug wrench will not remove the bolt, but the key socket engages with it to enable removal.

Good to know. My two Japanese cars don't have this kind of feature.
BTW, do you know how much torque should I use to tight these lug bolts?
