When will the GLE be redesigned

When will the GLE be redesigned
I realize that that GLE has looked virtually unchanged since its launch in 2020. I purchased a 2021 GLE and I am anticipating keeping it for 4 years. I never want to own a MB that is out of warranty. Also I generally don’t like buying a newly redesigned vehicle in its first model year. Based upon issues MB has had with some of their newly released models, for example the new GLC, you can understand why. I am not aware of any cycle that MB uses before redesigning their vehicles, I thought perhaps after 5 MYs a new vehicle is launched. I see that the 2024 GLE is unchanged, that would be the 5th MY . Does anyone know if the 2025 GLE will be redesigned or simply refreshed? If all goes as planned, and often times it doesn’t, I would like to buy my next vehicle in the early part of 2025. Thanks for any information you can provide.

The GLE has been refreshed for MY 2024. Don't expect any significant changes for a few years. The next update should be an all new model per the usual cycle, but as automakers cut costs to fund the transition to electric, it wouldn't surprise me if the next update is a more extensive refresh rather than a full redesign.

Thanks, for some strange reason I find that comforting. I really like my GLE and would hate to buy a new one in early 2025 that has not been throughly tested. We recently purchased 2 2022 GLCs rather than the 2023 GLC because of all the problems I had been reading about. We have 2 friends that did get the 2023 MY GLC and both of them experienced issues.

I think others have asked this question and the response I've read is this line gets refreshed every 7yrs based on the history of it. So expect 2026-27 which means you'll need to wait for 27-28 for 2nd year of the redesign.
