It does not use an Android system, but rather the same Linux system as the original MBUX.
It is reliable and stable, without the need for frequent updates like Android.

Whether Android or Linux, it is not the same as MBUX. This interface is an app that replaces MBUX as the primary interface for the car. More or less the same as the CarPlay units for the older Comand systems (NTG 4.5-5).
If that is the case, it will be vastly inferior for everything but CarPlay. Will this bypass the Burmester amp/equalizer?
