Are there any plans to revamp the GLE line? Most models now have the new MBUX system with vertical screen etc.

 

2027-28. It's a 7yr cycle that started 2020 with a halfway refresh for 2024.

 

Wow that's a long way off. The new MBUX will be old by then.

 

It’s more about presentation of the Tech…different placement of Digital screens, IMO. Look at the GLC for an example. Mercedes is making the EV and ICE similar inside. Standardization reduces costs and simplifies production. The refresh might have brought the new look but a lot of $ is going into BEV vehicles that aren’t selling well.

 

2024 GLE got upgraded to the latest MBUX (NTG 7) but kept pre-existing interior layout and screen configuration.

 

Which is the better configuration in my opinion instead of the tesla style screen.

I wonder if the GLE ever gets MB. OS for this generation?
