Unhappy Issues with User Profile- need advice

Hello-
Firstly, my husband and I have separate user profiles created on our 2024 GLE 350.
My first issue is that, manual memory seat buttons do not work, but when we switch user profiles, seat is rearranged. does this mean the profile settings override or disable memory seat buttons on the door?
Second is that how do i make sure my husband's phone is selected by default as Bluetooth/Apple Car Play device when his profile is selected, vs my phone?
Lastly, is there a way to rearrange profile/user order on the user selection page? my profile always ends up on the second page.

As to your first question, I can tell you that the behavior is exactly the same on my new EQE SUV. The profile seat positioning overrides (disables) the seat memory buttons on the door. I have been assuming this is "as designed", as it makes sense to me.
I haven't used the car long enough yet to comment on your other two questions. I'm sure somebody else will, however!

Great, that's the way it should be.

The seat memory buttons are tied to your profiles, which is not always obvious to people new to this system. I.e., each profile has its own settings for 1-2-3 memory for driver and passenger seats. So, "1" on your profile will not be the same setting as "1" on your husband's one. The proper order is the following:

1) Activate your profile
2) Adjust your seat to your preferred position
3) Save your seat position to a memory slot on the door (1-2-3) by pressing on "M" and then on required number.

Your husband should do the same with his profile active.

Upon activation of a profile, with the car in park, your seat will move to the last memory setting that was active for that profile. If you want to recall another memory slot, make sure you hold the number for a couple of seconds.

There is no way for it to "prefer" a certain phone as it can be connected to two of them at the same time. As for Car Play, I find that it often reconnects previously connected one. When it's not the case, you can quickly change what phone is providing Car Play by going to Phone-Devices and clicking on Car Play icon for the phone you want.

Do you have more than 2? I can see both on the same screen. It does restore the last profile automatically, so unless you constantly swap the seats on the same trip, it usually not a big deal to click on the one you want.

Hope it helps.
