Mercedes GLE Headlight Ratings
It seems that the reflectors have greater distance on straightaway compared to the “advanced lighting system” projectors. Interesting, headlights are very important to me since I live in the country, and would rather the better headlights, but, the projectors do a slightly better job with high beams. Very interesting.

I’d not worry about it. Advanced lights are great, best lights I’ve ever had, no issues with visibility, great road illumination.
Somebody mentioned that you can adjust the angle with a screwdriver as the lights are pointed conservatively downward, so it’s unlikely projectors vs reflectors thing. Again, never needed any of it, it just works
