GLE 2024 - Temperature Unit Conversion
Hello,
I have imported GLE 350 2024 from USA, and now I want to change the temperature unit from (Deg F to Deg C).
I went through the settings, it only allows me to change the speedometer unit.
Any idea on how to change it?
Thanks

Try using Settings in Mercedes Me app, then General, then click Units. I hope that change relates to your profile when using the car and the changes are displayed inside the car. Otherwise maybe it just affects the app only. Hth

If the above doesn't work then having it programmed should be no problem. There are 3 trusted programmers here:
RJ Automotive
Elebest
BenzNinja
Make sure to look at their full menus for other programming options such as the ILS+ headlights which are not enabled on US vehicles. RJ did mine and he was great.

I'm from Canada. I'm curious why you bought a car in the states? The prices are lower but by the time you put on the exchange on the money at 38% I wonder how much farther you are ahead.
You still have to pay the GST/Provincial tax unless you are from Alta with no provincial tax. Are you from Manitoba? Then Transport Canada inspection and recall clearance letter. You have those done by the sounds of it.
Are you sure you have warranty? If you do though, will you get the proper service from a non selling dealer?
Just curious what the advantages are?

I'm Canadian but have been living in the US for many years. Bought the GLE in the US back in 2019 and also wondered about converting F to C. Don't think there's a way, the app settings only affect the app last I checked. Seems like an omission as its a very minor option to add to the MBUX options menu, like there is for miles vs km.
On Toban's question, I may move back to Canada later this year and considering importing the GLE from the US since it's fully paid off and in good shape, but I don't know what the downsides are once its there.

Hey Toban,
I am from Saudi Arabia in the middle east, and I imported from US due to many reasons:
- Price is less by ~15% in total.
- We don't have here GLE350, we only have GLE450, GLE53, GLE63 Coupe.
- The availability is very limited due to high demand.
- The dealer I bought from here offers many after sales advantages and warranties.
- I still have the international warranty for 2-years (I can't extend - that's the worst part of it.)
Regards,
