The 2025 450 for the wife just arrived. Waiting for pdi to complete. Nice to see Lear made the seats. This is Catalana Beige.

My local dealer has that same vehicle combination on a GLS. It was stunning to see in person. Congrats to your wife! She'll love it.

He did miss out on one glaring quality error. That steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.

I get your point, the problems are different on every car they review. But there are not so many cars at the price of the GLE with this kind of aesthetic issues, this for me is the main problem at the moment. No such thing as a perfect car from a tehnical POV, but we can all hope for good quality fit&finish on a car at this price point. A good friend of mine visited a chinese car show a few months ago, the interior quality those cars offer at a fraction of the cost of a Mercedes is just unbelievable.

You definitely had a bad experience times 2 and pointed out some obvious flaws. However, as @BlueYonder stated, these forums and other social media ratios of complaints vs.glowing reviews are always slanted toward negatives. So far, I am happy with my GLE 53 Coupe that I just purchased and see no flaws. Will I feel the same in a year or two? I don't know. But I choose to stay happy after coming out of a disaster Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 4xe. All issues were drive battery related to include shutting off and trying to go into Park at 55 MPH. So, I went for safety. Jeep told my dealer that they are aware of the issue and to give the car back to the customer (me).

So, what vehicle did you decide to go with? Whatever you do, stay away from any Stellantis brand as the issues are long and deep due to former CEO.

I bought a Q8 from Audi and I am waiting for a Bmw XM to be delivered in a few months. I've owned quite a few cars in the last 15 years, all from german premium brands. The only aesthetic issues I've had were with these two GLE's. I do have to underline the keyword for this whole topic, AESTHETIC. You can call it bad luck when it happens once, but when it happens twice in the same year with highly spec AMG version..well, that is a different story. I did not have any aesthetic issues with my Audi, Bmw or Porsche cars..nothing at all. Tehnical issues yes, but bad stitching or crooked panoramic roof just to mention a few...only on GLE.
I wish I had received a good one, because I still love the way it looks..maybe next generation will fix the issues and I can come back to MB. Or get the G-class, build in Europe.

I guess stick with MB, or consider Volvo or not.

Yeah Mr Cymbal in that video would be a good example of somebody who doesn't understand how to work a switch.
I left a comment when I originally saw it, explaining how to work the A/C, (The actual switch not the menu) but it was unanswered.
Doofus.

He was upset because you had to look through the Heads Up Display. That's why it's called a "Heads Up" display. What a Maroon!

Ya for some reason the video popped up again on youtube, which is why I linked it here. I saw this video back then as well.

The funny thing is this person rented this car just to bash it, his channel has nothing to do with cars.
