Smartkey to user

Is it possible to configure the smartkey to a vehicle user. What I mean is the car would select a user from the key that unlocks the car. This seems like it would be doable, but I can't figure out how.

Mercedes may be the only German manufacturer that doesn't allow that.
It's unfortunate because I think it's a great feature.

Funny this was mentioned because we were talking about it today in another thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/eqe-v295-...ml#post8977635

I'm only seeing 'voice recognition' under protect content. No Fingerprint1 and 2 and no SmartKey Recognition.

My 2014 Acura MDX adjusted the seat and mirrors, depending on what key was used to open the door. Even if it wasn’t locked. .

I've had a Buick and a Tahoe that did this. Why MB doesn't is beyond me...

My 2004 E320 CDI did this, but it did not have a remote key. I think the problem may be that when your passenger touches the door handle first, the car sets everything for that person (if they have a key). Then you have to screw with the settings when you get in the car. I have one login that is for me as I am the primary driver.

It is true and I don't get the reason why, it does seem like they also offer it in Europe but for some reason not in North America as evident by that image.
