Reserved for AMG models, GLE580 shares the same engine with the G550 & S560/580, all of which also don't have the fender badge. Consider your fender badge-less 580 a sleeper.

I do wish the v8 and suspension tuning were about 25% more aggressive in 580. I am anxiously awaiting some tune options for the bi-turbo v8 and the ability to run the air suspension in lower modes separate of the drive modes. Having come from a 2020 e63s I'm missing the Sport+ mode that really unlocks so much more of the v8.
BenzNinja was able to lower the airmatic suspension and also have sport or sport+ active upon start. Renntech offers a tune compatible for the 580 w/ eqboost.

I reached out to both BenzNinja and RJAutomotive who I've used before an no one yet seems able to do anything on 2024 models yet other than enable the full LED headlight functionality for the US cars. Hopefully MB will allow 2024+ to be modified at some point.

It sounds like a GLE63 would've been a better fit?
The 580 sits in the lineup as the perfectly-powered luxo-barge--tuned for effortless comfort, above all.
So if a GLE 450 had airmatic, it wouldn’t ride as nice as the 580.
might even be better because it would have less weight to tame. I find the body roll and general motion on the 580 in comfort mode a bit of a mess. I drive in sport all the time unless I'm on a really rough road like cobblestones

I believe the weight difference is 300lbs between the two if anyone is curious.
So guys, I said to myself "does my car have a V8 Biturbo and 4Matic?" I answer myself yes and I'm proud to have it! I want the world to see and I want it to shine! 😂 I have no shame because it's not a lie, I just removed the red + sign since I don't have the 4matic plus (I think?), Used a little black nail polish 😎

I mean, someone considered the same for a W222, it is not a lie as mechanically there are the two things, the V8 and the BITURBO so it really isn't a big deal: https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post8592417
