Wife has a 2020 GLE 350. Noticed a greasy substance on the plastichrome plate under the rear hatch near the bumper and there are some rust stains that would suggest water. There is nothing else amiss. No wetness elsewhere in the vehicle, no stains and it does not seem to be worse than when I noticed it several months ago. I know there was an issue with the wiper fluid line to the rear hatch early in the production run. I cannot seem to fine that thread but it seems different from that based on memory.

I am taking the vehicle in for service in two weeks. They were running a promotion when the lease ran out and I have a CPO warranty until 11/25 even though it was purchased new. Not sure this would be covered.
