I had a 2021E450 and in three years had to replace 11 tires and 5 repaired rims. So to get away from those low profile tire I bought a 2025 GLE 450. Has anyone experienced unusual tire repairs on their GLE?

I haven't seen any 167 posts (gls included) about ruining tires or rims even on the 22" wheels. The only remarks you'll read about is lack of tire options on 22" and slightly improved comfort as you go smaller.

20" has the best tire selections.

I had the same problem with my wife's 19 CLS53. Her E450 was ordered with 19" wheels and RF tires. This should solve the problem.

Presently 19 S560 SEDAN, 2014 XK, SOLD GLE 450e
Had cracked rims on CL550 (not CLS but CL) and S560 cars. Lousy 22" riims suck eggs and not for interstate traveling imho. I'll never ever buy a car with 22 plus inch wheels. Noisy, hard riding and prone to cracked rims

That's what they used to say about 16" rims, 20 years ago.
