I highly doubt they can legally deny your warranty if you service outside of MB dealerships as long as you service based on schedule with the appropriate parts (ie. genuine parts), the appropriate and approved oil viscosity, etc.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 allows you to have anybody do the work, including yourself.
It also specifies that you can use non-factory parts as long as meet specs.
You just have to keep records that show receipts and work orders.
I'd recommend you talk directly with the service manager to verify what's acceptable there.
There's also a way with Mercedes me, to release maintenance data to an independent, at least in Massachusetts.
