Mercedes Me Connect not updating after 10 days in garage
I've been away from home (overseas) and my 2024 GLE 53 has stopped updating the Mercedes Me Connect app and hasn't/won't refresh the info. It's been 15 days now since I've been in and started the car. Does it stop sending updates (chargd status, tire pressure, lock statis, etc) after a period of time or is something wrong?
Any advice would be most appreciated!
In the app you should see the last time it made contact with the car. There may be no communication for days.
You'll have make contact through the app, like locking the car and unlocking it. That should update to a current reading on the app.
If your battery goes a certain point, I think 12.2 volts, the car/app should notify you in any case.
There are generally no updates if the car is parked and you don't lock/unlock or open doors, but it should update the moment you unlock it after your return or you issue a remote command. I use standby mode in my car when I'm going away for that long. That turns off the telematics online services, alarm etc. for extending parking, so the battery doesn't drain. Standby mode is not available in all models, though.

Unfortunately, standby doesn't exist in the v167, at least in the US.
I've gotten so used to just plugging in my battery maintainer for any trips longer than 5 days. My longest trip is usually a few months and if I recall, the app still gets updates even during many months of being away. It only takes a minute to do it if you have a nearby outlet.

5 to 7 days is what I use when deciding to hook up my maintainer. It extends the life of your battery as well.
