2016 GLE 300d leaking steering fluid?
Yesterday I took my GLE to the mechanic for a leak I’ve been having. I was told it was steering fluid. I was unable to find where to check or add additional fluid and proceeded to find out in forums that the steering is electrical, and another forum said that there is no fluid. My question is, if there is no fluid in the steering rack and pinon how is it leaking? Or what else may it be? What I observed was a vegetable oil looking substance.
Forgive me if the answer to this is somewhere here, but I did look first and couldn’t find anything. Thank you ahead of time for any info. I don’t know much about the mechanical workings and such, but I definitely try to get answers to my questions
