I recently purchased a vehicle, please check if this is a sign of repair
Hi.

I bought a C167 GLE350DE and I am struggling with the service center due to the ride quality issue.

I found a part below the car body, is this a repair mark? Is this normal for factory assembly?

The clean part is the left level height sensor on the back,




and the shaky part is the right level height sensor on the back.

I would like to ask for your advice.

The left side is welded by a robot, and is right side is measured and by welding by person...? I'm asking because the angle of the sensor on the right is very strange.

So you are concerned that someone might have fixed the ride height sensors before they sold you the car?

Yes, it's too long to explain in detail, but I just want to leave open the possibility.
This vehicle was released as a new car.​​​​​​​

Depending on the state must be stated. In the state I reside I was told that if a new vehicle has "minor" damage and repaired back to new condition prior to delivery with new factory OEM parts the vehicle is considered new and the repair does no have to be disclosed. Not sure what constitutes minor from major damage.
