Can I add a heated steering wheel and trailer hitch?
Just purchased a new 2025 GLE 53 Coupe with Pinnacle and Driver Assist pkgs. I missed that a heated steering wheel would not be included. Also, this did not come with a factory tow hitch. Can these be added and look factory installed?

The heated steering wheel can be added. From what I understand, the tow hitch can't be added later or it is very difficult to do if it can be done at all.

I have had a hitch added after the fact but it is not cheap. Doing it through MB they will make a stupid quote not worth considering. But you can buy the hitch after market which mounts to the same mount points as OEM. The wiring is another beast. There are European and NA wiring harnesses you could get. I got the NA. I had to message a lota MB dealers before finding one that would do the wiring as I did not want that done by just anyone. They did complete the wiring. Did a great job I might add BUT it is not wired for trailer brake to the drivers seat and I need to use a RF trailer brake controller. Wiring the trailer brake to the front was not worth the cost when an RF controller is perfectly fine.

In the UK there is a company that does it and it's around £3500. You get the full MB tow hitch experience using MB parts. You can add other towing options but they are all third party.
