Can anyone recommend a boot mat for the V167 (SUV 2023, restyle) plug-in hybrid? I use the original Mercedes mats for the first and second rows. But our MB dealer seemed to say that the original Mercedes boot mat would not fit the plug-in hybrid because the boot is smaller due to the battery installed underneath.
I've been impressed by the TUXMAT I ordered for my 450 Coupe. Double check with them to determine if theirs will fit of course.
They do not have models for the plug-in hybrid SUV at the web site, but I wrote them the request, let's see what will they respond.

I wrote them the request, it seems their cargo mat is not compatible, because it looks exactly as the original MB A1678140100, which doesn't fit (according to MB dealer). Have you bought boot mat for your PHEV SUV from WeatherTech? If yes, then it definitely will fit.
My Dealer's Part Department said they thought the mat for the GLE350/450 rubber mat for the back would work. They tried one in my GLE450e, and I trimmed a very little off at the back lip, and it works just fine.

I think it came with the car. The car was CPO. For all I know, the previous driver may have bought it.

hard to get decent pictures with black on black. However it should provide some idea of a real world install and the texture of the matt. To me much less sliding of cargo compared to the other two brands I’ve tried over the years

Thank you very much! I already wrote to Tuxmat about the compatibility with PHEV SUV, but didn't get their response yet. The Weathertech mat seems to be compatible and looks really good (thanks to @Elvisfan0108 ) but the cost of the mat itself plus shipping is too high. So decided to order the original MB part and trim the mat's corner according to @SoCal Living recommendations

My dealer supplied a MB OEM rubber mat for for the cargo area that matches the style of the interior mats.
Sorry for the delay. Here are two shots. I only trimmed this because I could see where it was rubbing slightly. The door was actually closing just fine. Second shot of the trim.

I have tuxmat on my vehicles and one is 10 years old already and still looks new. I will however won't recommend the trunk liner as it is not tuff enough for hard core utility like bricks, sharp objects, etc. Get the hard liner like the one on weathertech.

I did not have that problem before. If it is folding there or hitting the back panel it should not scratch it. That would be a weak spot now every time you remove the liner as it can fold in that area.

Do you have PHEV GLE SUV? I mean it seems plugin Hybrid GLE SUV models have a little bit reduced boot area due to the battery placed there. So probably you haven't had that kind of experience because of normal GLE (or GLE SUV)
