Excess Cabin Pressure Noise — 2025 GLE 450e
I have a 2025 GLE 450e. When I set the airflow to the highest setting (level 7) and turn off the recirculation mode, I hear a low-pitched whining or hum noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. I believe it’s coming from the relief vents
If I slightly lower a window, I can hear air being sucked in and a whistling sound starts. If I open the window further to allow more air in, the noise goes away. Similarly, if I turn the recirculation mode back on, the noise also stops.
It seems like the system is trying to pull in so much outside air that it can’t vent the excess pressure quickly enough.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you fix it?
