Did you come across my old video accessing the HUD settings and see if there's anything there that could fix it?

I did and am grateful you posted it. I tried using everything in that menu and nothing fixed it unfortunately.

Then I agree with you. It's likely not software related. Try a different dealership. Keep us posted.

An update: I've since taken my car to a different dealer and unfortunately was told the same thing -- "wait for a software update."

I contacted MB Customer Care and they've offered to arrange a trade in due to the software being delayed until Mid-2026. Has anyone gone through this experience? I'm not sure if this is considered a buy back or simply them facilitating a standard trade in. Thanks

That's a bummer. I was hoping you would have a much simpler resolution.

Hi all — bumping this thread in hopes someone has any contacts at MB or possible solutions. I’ve been in communication with my service manager who now says the software update will be ready end of 2026 (assuming no further delays) and Mercedes has not advised them to replace any parts.

Customer Care hasn’t given me an update since January (I was told 8 weeks for an update and we’re past that). I shouldn’t be surprised, but it’s crazy that it’s taking this long for a fix. It seems like this update will never be released, and even if it does, my guess is that it really won’t fix this issue.
