2023 GLE350 engine 264?

We bought our '23 GLE350 as a CPO a year ago. The VMI shows the first 3 digits of the engine serial number as 264. In traveling around the Internet it seems the cylinder heads had problems. I was unable to find anything definitive for our car. Any observations for a paranoid old guy? BTW it is not a mild hybrid.

Search this site. It will be easy for you to find lots of MB 4-banger problems. Unfortunately.

All I can say is drive it like a luxury vehicle. (Milk Truck). Don't play Ricky racer just because you have a turbo. Stay religious with the maintenance intervals. When it comes time for spark plugs (on or before 60K miles) change them.
My 2020 has had Zero issues. ( Knock on wood) It's a good engine for us older drivers. We have nothing to prove how fast we can get the thing going. Remember these engines are hotter than the normal oil temps so monitor it from time to time to make sure it doesn't cross the high-end threshold. and for gawd sake don't cheat and use cheap gad to save a buck in the short term. Premium Gas is far cheaper that replacing an engine.

Thanks. Good advice. When I saw that my wife's '14 ML350 had a 12:1 compression ratio, I knew I would never use cheap gas. For comparison, the CR in my '67 GTO was 10.75:1. And it didn't like cheap gas or overheating. In searching this forum prior to making my original post, I saw lots of stuff about 4 cyl head trouble across a number of models and years. But no mention of it for anything 2023 or newer. So it's like looking for something that may or may not be there, which is why I asked if anyone had seen mention of head trouble in a 2023 GLE350. It's my wife's car. She has put less than 4k miles since we purchased it as a CPO last Sept. It will get its one year service this Wed.
