I have a 2022 GLE63s. I'm getting ready for a long trip with a trailer and load combo of about 7,000lbs. I'm wondering if you have a ball mount that you really like? I'll be pulling a 16 foot covered trailer and would like it to be as level as possible. I purchased a B&W adjustable mount, but it unfortunately won't clear my bumper due to the shaft being about 1.5" too short. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
You will want a weight distribution hitch and sway control. The Andersen hitch is popular because it uses friction for sway control and is the lightest of the bunch.

Load your trailer to keep your tongue weight at about 10% of the loaded trailer weight to reduce sway potential. The hitch and the tongue weight both are part of Cargo Capacity. Try to keep the tongue weight under 800 lbs (hitch limit is 600).
The Andersen is what most Towing Folks use on the forums I visit.
If you want to sacrifice some control, some drive with no WDH but still use a cheap friction sway bar, part of the #2 link above.
