Question for 2020 Owners

I have a 2020 Model, I have the blind spot feature, but my question is the collision assist package supposed to come standard or is that a option with the vibrating steering wheel?

Reason I ask is because my BIL has a 2015 base ML model and his steering wheel vibrates when going out of lanes, not that he has the lane assist package.

not sure on that. I got the full AMG night package on mine with all the bells and whistles, except the dash HUD. NEver had the steering wheel vibrating. I've had the vehicle tell me to take a rest break or a coffee stop a couple of times on 7hr long hauls.

My ML has the lane keeping assist and it came with standard collision prevention assist. Mercedes packed a lot of standard safety features back in the day for its time. I had a 2025 GLE loaner a couple months ago and it had the collision prevention go off but the car had no lane keeping assist which surprised me as basically every BMW since 2019 has come with it standard and a base model civic for years has had it standard. My X7 came standard with the upgraded active safety systems so not just lane keeping but active lane centering as well. I don't believe Mercedes has made the active features standard on the GLE.
