GLE53 AMG X167 Upgrade Mercedes AMG Brake Kit

Let’s be real — the C167 / V167 GLE53 AMG comes from the factory with just a single-piston front brake setup. For a car this size and weight? Honestly, it’s not nearly enough.We just wrapped up another GLE53 with an genuine brake upgrade. This time we went with the Mercedes benz gray calipers — basically the same performance as the AMG-branded ones, but way more budget-friendly. Then we had them refinished in red to match the vibe.

Same stopping power, better look, smarter spend.

2014 C300 Sport / 2022 GLE 450
This is interesting to me. I have a 2022 GLE 450 with standard brakes. What is involved in this upgrade?

@iCARMIX It seems to me that a different Master cylinder would also be needed. And perhaps a different booster.
You're going from 2 or 4 piston to 6 piston in front. Otherwise, your pedal travel will increase, the initial bite will feel different, and the whole system will probably feel softer.

Front Kit (need repaint to red):
  • 2 x Brake Disc front (left/right)
  • 2 x Fixed Caliper front (left/right)

with factory wheels, you may need spacer.

for this model, no need to change cyliner or booster. it's enough. some models can do brake performance coding to improve.
