Driver seat squeaking issue

I just saw on the M-class forum that there's a post on this same issue and I am already experiencing it after putting on 1300 miles on my 16 GLE. Does anyone have this same issue and if so, has the dealership been able to fix it?

This happened to mine. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty.

Although I have a '16 GL550, my driver's seat snaps/creaks and squeaks when I accelerate and hard stop. Sometimes over big bumps. Stared about 600 miles in. Brought it to the dealer and of course, they could not reproduce. As said, "Our foreman is 200+ pounds." Okay, I'm 175... Picked the rig up and not more than five minutes after leaving the noise was there. Argh. Will try again when I have time but I don't buy that they could not reproduce. I have a feeling they just sat in the seat and hopped up and down on it to reproduce. That doesn't work, you have to drive the rig.

My wife weights 120lbs and she's hearing the squeaks so I don't think it has anything to do with weight..

They had to tear down the seat, remove all of the plastic bindings and assemble everything back together again. At least that is what it said on the service sheet.

Ouch I was hoping they won't need to do something that extensive as it is usually never the same when it is put back together..hope the fix will last

She is too light for the seats.
I am 220lbs so I stress the seat enough so it doesn't squeak.
