Trip to the Factory
Wife and I are touring the factory in Vance AL on Tuesday. Our salesman said our car should be here by mid February. So every Lunar Blue 400 we see.... That's it. Ha Ha. We are bringing our P/O number, maybe someone can tell us something. Have any question you would like me to ask? Will post about the factory and tour. Wish us luck.....

Sorry - specifically no photos - ever - in the production area.
Production photos in the "Museum" - yes.
When visiting Vance - please make time to visit Barber Motorcycle Museum - largest private motorcycle collection in the world - exceptional - not to be missed if your down that area too.

Today's Tour
The tour was very nice. We walked plant 1. Stamping of all body's, the remaining tour was seeing the C class cars assembled. Plant 2 is were the GLE are done. The tour guild just said to apply everything we saw in this plant to plant 2. He answered most of the groups questions, but didn't know how long a car remains on the property once it rolls out the building. We drove very close to plant 2, and where the cars are loaded on transporters. In all it was well worth the time, purchased a sign for the garage, "Mercedes Dr/ Tuscaloosa AL"
