New standard wheels ?
Picked up the wife's new GLE350 4matic and it had these wheels on it as standard? Did they update the wheels? Did not see anything on the website and the salesman did not know either.

Check the tire size - from the GLE lineup if those are 19" - then they are the 65R wheels from the GLE550 - and would be listed on the window sticker under option section as 65R if they were factory installed

Yes, you are correct. I downloaded the GLE brochure and see there is a 65R option. I checked the windows sticker and it only lists 19-inch wheels in the Standard Features section. No wheel entry under optional equipment.

My order sheet does list the 65R wheel as a no cost item. I never noticed it because I just assumed that was the standard wheel code. Wife is happy and I guess that is what really maters.

This may explain why we got the alternate wheels.

"Limited availability. Optional 19-inch twin 5-spoke wheels may be included at no charge. See your dealer."

As someone who bought the 19" wheels and asked-for, and didn't get, those alternate wheels, congrats
The 5 spoke blade-looking rims I ended up with are kinda cheesy.
